Warm Edge (Intercept®) Spacer Technology - Makes a great window even better

Soft Lite standard products use this specially designed one-piece steel spacer to separate the glass lites. This unique "U" shaped spacer allowsfor expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes. Because the spacer is designed to flex, the glass unit resists sealant deterioration which means a longer seal life.

In addition, because this spacer is so thermally efficient, it keeps the perimeter areas of the window glass warmer, drastically reducing condensation on the inside of the window.

Super Spacer® - TrueWARM® Edge Technology

We use Super Spacer in all of our Ultimate R10 Triple Pane Glass Packages. It is also available as a stand alone upgrade on all Soft Lite products. We especially recommend Super Spacer for high condensation areas such as the kitchen and bathroom to help prevent condensation.

Clearly, the Super Spacer product line stands alone. We call it TrueWARM because Super Spacer is the world's only 100% polymer foam, NO-Metal Warm Edge spacing system. Comfort Foam™

- An energy efficient fill that's government approved and environmentally friendly.

Comfort Foam™ can be injected into the sash and mainframe to prevent heat/cold transfer through the frame. It provides further insulation of the window just like the insulation in the walls and attic of your home. It also strengthens the frame and reduces outside noise infiltration.

We order all of our Soft Lite Imperial Windows with Comfort Foam™ in the mainframe, sash is optional.

Acclimate Low-E - Highest performing coating available

With Acclimate Low-E glass in the summer the amount of solar heat gain and radiation are significantly reduced. In the winter it minimizes condensation and allows the interior window to stay warmer. It does both about 50% more efficiently then clear glass. That means an average of 13-18% savings on your heating and cooling costs!

In warm climates, Low-E automatically keeps the heat out and cool air in.

In cold climates, it keeps the heat in and the bitter cold out.
